We caught up with UK Distribution partner, Stuart Robson, Director at Safety Systems Distribution Ltd for a walk down memory lane and a chat about all things Intercall.
Safety Systems Distribution and Intercall have worked together for quite literally generations. The relationship began many years ago (longer than anyone dares remember) when Safety Systems founder Neil Robson and Intercall founder David Hardy, drawn together by common values and approaches, first forged their partnership. Fast forward to 2005, when Neil’s sons, Stuart and Mark joined Safety Systems and continued that partnership with Intercall, spearheaded these days by David’s son, Simon Hardy.
Stuart told us, “The Intercall relationship was an inherited one for Mark and me. These days we consider Intercall to be a forward-thinking company that continually develops market-leading products, while sharing our passion to deliver high level care that ultimately benefits residents and patients’ lives. We work with pretty much the whole suite of Intercall products and systems from Intercall 600/700 to the latest Intercall One, Intercall Touch and the Guardian system. The products are reliable, while being backed by excellent sales and technical support.”
Stuart went on to heap particular praise on the Touch Nurse Call System saying, “we’re finding that call escalations on Touch are extremely helpful to our clients. The ability to remotely access Touch IP’s for the Controller and the Touch Display allows the urgency de-escalation of callouts, improving response times dramatically while keeping costs for both Safety Systems Distribution and our clients down.”
Stuart concluded with, “we have good relationships with all the staff at Intercall. It’s safe to say that the values that drew Neil and David together all those years ago, still hold true for the relationship today. Intercall are an adaptable company who endeavour to find a solution to most of our needs and requirements.”
Recent Safety System’s Distribution projects have included installing the Intercall Touch nurse call system into Exemplar Healthcare’s new 30-bed Hylton Grange Care Home for adults living with complex and high acuity needs in Sunderland, and the Intercall One nurse call system into the new County Court Care home in Thirsk.
