International partnerships are incredibly important to our business, giving us the ability to support healthcare providers throughout the world. The past months have seen us collaborating and supplying our products across the globe. We can only achieve this with the help and support of our partners and distributors who are an integral part of the Intercall team; recent projects are a testament to these relationships.


Last month we supplied a 100-bed field hospital in Mauritania North-West Africa, with the Intercall 600 via our Jordanian partners International Hospital Supplies. While in collaboration with our Kenyan partners Titan Fire, we supplied the Aga Khan Hospital in Dar Es Salaam in Tanzania, with an additional 40-bed Intercall Touch system extension for Covid patients.


The Touch series was also recently installed in the 500-bed Suez Medical Complex in Egypt and was followed up with an online training session hosted from our new purpose-built in-house training facility.


When MPi in UAE asked if we could fulfil a 200-bed Intercall system order with only a two-week lead time for the Fujairah Field Hospital, the answer was a big ‘yes’. The past 18 months have been a huge challenge for everyone in the healthcare sector, both in the UK and internationally. Intercall has supplied the majority of the Emergency Centres set up in the Emirates over this period and are continuing to do so thanks to our robust stock controls and effective partnership working.


Finally in a non-COVID related project, we supplied and installed the Intercall Touch system with cloud reporting throughout the 450-bed Imperial Home in Sliema, Malta. The Imperial is a luxurious care home offering high-quality retirement, long and short-term, convalescent and dementia care in the beautifully renovated old Imperial Hotel. Magnificently renovated to carefully preserve the architecture and grandeur of the old Imperial Hotel, the clean and unobtrusive design of the Touch system fits perfectly in its surroundings while offering easy communication and management of patient care.


Online communications and our in-house online training facility have been invaluable to our UK-based business over the past 18 months and will undoubtedly be a firm fixture moving forward. That said, we’re looking forward to restrictions easing and being able to meet our overseas clients and partners face-to-face once more. In the meantime, stay safe and we’ll see you soon.
