A rebrand for QR Tech Solutions, previously known as MultiPower International

Intercall Middle Eastern distributor, previously known as MultiPower International (MPI) has rebranded to become QR Tech Solutions.

Specialising in delivering innovative solutions across various sectors including health, education and security, QR Tech Solutions primarily work with integrators to whom they provide products, training and full project support.

The majority of QR Tech’s work is undertaken in the Middle East. Talking about the region, Quieta Raouf, Managing Director of QR Tech told us, “the Middle East is a unique market where a company’s reputation and quality of implementation are crucial for long-term success. Over the years, we have seen many companies enter the market and make quick sales but struggle to maintain consistency. The businesses that endure are those with clear processes, and most importantly, strong ethical standards. Intercall is well known in the region, with a strong track record and a long list of successful references. The reliability of its products over the years has reinforced its reputation. To maintain this standard, we prioritise thorough technical training before any installation, ensuring consistent performance and customer satisfaction”.

Discussing the rebrand, Quieta told us, “We’ve built our reputation the right way – by consistently supporting hospitals, government facilities, and critical infrastructure across the region with practical, effective solutions. We’ve been working with Intercall since 2009, when we collaborated on a project for Baghdad Medical City. We initially chose Intercall because they had a great reputation as one of the leading brands in nurse call systems. Since that time, their strong guidance and support have helped foster a successful partnership.”

Quieta went on to tell us, “we’ve learned that successful systems aren’t just about proper installation – they’re about real-world performance in active healthcare environments. Having worked with these systems through multiple generations, we understand what makes them work reliably day after day.”

QR Tech Solutions and Intercall have much in common; both are family businesses with a culture of inclusivity and diversity and a commitment to a high level of service and expertise. Collaboration is key for Quieta and her team. Working together for the best possible outcomes has strengthened the partnership, “we have worked on several hospital projects in the Middle East region, where budget constraints were often a challenge such as the Sheik Khalifa Medical City in Abu Dhabi and Muscat Surgical Hospital in Oman. In these cases, we collaborated closely with the Intercall team to design solutions that met both the customer’s specifications and budget requirements.”

More recent projects have included restoring critical security at an Oman Air Force Base, which saw the QR Tech team working on-site to diagnose and resolve critical Distributed Sound and Alarm system failure. The team diagnosed and resolved the critical issue within hours, ensuring uninterrupted security operations where system downtime was unacceptable.

Likewise, when another integrator failed to fix an ongoing low-current system problem at Al Salaam Hospital in Bahrain, the QR Tech team were called in. They were able to swiftly identify the root cause, before implementing a permanent restorative solution.

As Quieta told us, “Both these projects demonstrate why clients trust us with their most sensitive environments… because when lives depend on it, compromise isn’t an option”.
