2025: Around the World in 365 Days

2025 saw Intercall continue its expansion in the Indian, African and Middle East markets, collaborating with our expert regional partners to showcase Intercall nurse call and staff attack systems, while steadily rolling out our systems across the UK care sector.

The year kicked off with a visit to UAE in January, with Intercall exhibiting at the 26th edition of Intersec at the Dubai World Trade Centre, followed by our attendance at the 50th Arab Health Medical Expo.

We hopped across the Arabian Sea to India, where we caught up with our local partners Maxlife Health Enterprises pvt, joining them on a site visit to the Bharathi Infinity Hospital in Madurai, Tamil Nadu to see the installation of Intercall One into the facility and to offer training and support to the team there.

February saw the Intercall Touch nurse call system rolled out to a further 200 beds in the Tanta Oncology Hospital via our Egyptian partners, KYR.

In the UK, we sheltered from the spring April showers and headed to Birmingham NEC to The Security Event, where we exhibited Intercall One, Intercall Touch and Intercall Guardian Staff Attack systems.

In May, we celebrated the success of our sponsored local football team Montpelier Villa U18s in the Mid Sussex Youth League Division 1 and the Southern Combination League U18 Central Division. A big well done to Intercall’s Adam Daniels who was one of their volunteer coaches.

June saw us sharing news that the Intercall One nurse call system with added Touch Screen Displays was supplied to a 250-bed hospital in Medellin, Colombia via our Spanish and Latin American partners, Adria. While in London, we attended the Care Forum at the Radisson Hotel & Conference Centre.

June also saw us welcome our newest staff member, Jordy, to the Intercall Despatch Department. A keen musician, Jordy has been educating us all on the music of Mauritius.

Back in the UK, Intercall collaborated with managers Bellrock, installers Secom and the team at Inverclyde Royal Hospital’s Larkfield Unit for the Elderly to customise their nurse call system. We designed and produced three custom faceplates that integrated smoothly into the existing containment boxes and complied with HTM guidelines. In the hospital’s Mental Health Unit, the system was further enhanced by integrating the Intercall Guardian Staff Attack solution.

Hitting the road again in July, we headed to regional roadshow, Care England Forum in Coventry.

In India, our regional partners Maxlife took part in India’s largest B2B Medical Equipment Exhibition, the 42nd Edition of the Medical Health Expo, Chennai. Meanwhile, our Egyptian partners, KYR Distribution Centre, exhibited Intercall One and Intercall Touch at Securex South Africa in Johannesburg. Then in September, KYR hosted an African Partner Day in Cairo. We were delighted to join KYR online to offer training and support to the team and their customers, and look forward to attending again in person next year.

Fast forward to October and the Care Show at Birmingham NEC. Always a great event, we were delighted to exhibit in collaboration with distribution partners Safety Systems Distribution Ltd.

We followed that up with the Care Roadshow South at Epsom Downs Racecourse, where we presented our new HDMI Interface, which allows users to link their Intercall systems to any size TV/Display.

In Stockholm, our partners, Lots Security AB exhibited Intercall Touch and the Intercall One nurse call system at SECTECH Expo. There they also demonstrated our new HDMI Interface, developed to create a larger screen display for our nurse call solutions, which proved to be popular with delegates.

Still in October, we joined partners Delta Telecom and Edison Telecom at Healthcare Estates at Manchester Central, where we exhibited Intercall HTM Compliant Nurse Call and the Intercall Guardian Staff Attack systems.

The month was rounded off by our Egyptian partners, KYR, who exhibited Intercall One and Intercall Touch nurse call systems at the Intelligent Cities Exhibition & Conference at the Hilton Cairo Heliopolis.

Heading back to the UK, November saw us head to the Care Roadshow Wales at Cardiff City FC.

Taking stock after a busy year, it was great to get the Intercall team together at the beginning of December at Ashdown Park Hotel and Country Club for a well-deserved Christmas party. While we look forward to the festive break, all eyes are on our next event, Intersec on the 12th- 14th January at the Dubai World Trade Centre. We’ll see you there.
