It’s been an extraordinary year for everyone in the care sector, with challenges that many of our colleagues are still facing on a daily basis. 

Like many businesses, our supply chain resilience was tested from the outset of the Covid-19 pandemic, but due to our robust stock holding systems and processes we were able to meet increased demand at short notice and were honoured to have played a small part in supporting key workers with the supply of emergency nurse call solutions in hospitals both here in the UK and overseas. 

2020 also saw Intercall welcome the Guardian Staff Safety system to the Intercall stable of products. As the originators of the infrared solution used by Guardian, it was the perfect homecoming for the Guardian brand and suite of products, which now sit within the Intercall brand, offering a complete suite of Nurse Call and Staff Safety solutions for the modern care environment.

On a personal level, we were delighted to congratulate Graham Chapman, Managing Director of Guardian and Director at Intercall, for 25 years with the business. Many of you will know Graham and how important his commitment and enthusiasm has been to the continued success of Intercall. We look forward to celebrating as a team when the situation allows.

So, what about 2021? As we look towards the new year, we continue to hold good stock levels of all our products, as well as having established dual sourcing arrangements for those components sourced from the EU. With over twenty years export experience, we plan to continue to support our overseas partners without disruption. In the meantime, we’d like to send all our clients, suppliers and partners our best wishes and thanks for your continued support.
